Hiking holiday in South Tyrol

Hiking holiday in South Tyrol

The Villanderer Alm is the closest hiking area for your hiking holiday at the Falserhof. With its beautiful network of trails and many mountain huts, it is a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks to the well-maintained and not too steep paths, hiking with children and long mountain bike tours are also easily possible.

Hiking around Villanders in the Eisack Valley

The Eisack Valley and the surrounding mountain regions offer endless hiking opportunities. Directly from us you can see different peaks of the Sarntaler Alps. Our local mountain, the Villander Berg, the Sarner Scharte or the Königsspitz are just a few examples.

Alternatively, you can drive a bit, visit to the Seiser Alm and climb the mountains that gave the names to our apartments: Schlern and Plattkofel.

If you are a climber, you will find many beautiful climbing mountains and also experienced mountain guides, who accompany you gladly.

It’s always nice to combine a hike with a special destination. Here in Villanders, the Archeopark with its historical excavations and the Mine of Villanders are perfect options. Our St. Stephan Church and the special cemetery with the many wrought-iron crosses are also impressive, and they are nearby.

The “Totenkirchl” and the “Totensee” on the Villanderer Alm are a bit farer away, but also these hikes can be easily done with children.

For a hike with a magnificent view, we recommend the guided pine tree hike on the Villanderer Alm or the sunrise hike to Latzfonser Kreuz from Klausen.
